HyperX the gaming company which is definitely by the gamer, to the gamers and for the gamers. I think they have evolved a lot and they have been doing remarkably well in the gaming peripherals section more than anyone else. Earlier we did review the HyperX Alloy FPS pro keyboard on this website. We even did review their headsets. Today we have the HyperX Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard; We have the red only variant which again looks dope.

Build and keys of the HyperX Alloy Elite
I’ve seen multiple gaming keyboards, but this one feels little light I don’t know specifically but Its due to elite. I am comparing it out to the same or similarly priced earlier mechanical keyboard. The light keyboard doesn’t mean it is less sturdy. The keyboard is still sturdy as a previous mechanical keyboard. The core part of the keyboard rocks in solid steel base frame. The Frame gives the main rigidity to the keyboard.
About the key/ switches
The HyperX Alloy Elite has a Cherry MX red switches. It has a linear operation style and supports operating force of 45g. The tall travel difference is of 4mm and rated for the life span keystrokes upto 50 million times. HyperX also claimes 100 percent Anti-ghosting and N-key rollover functionality. Additional titanium-colored textured keycaps and HyperX keycap removal tool is included in the box itself.
About the customizations
There is a onbaord memory for keyboard customization. In the case of the Red variant its been predefined. At the top corner above to the ESC key there are 3 keys. 1st one is the brightness key which adjust the light brightness of the backlit keys. second one is the modes key which helps you to navigate within the modes of the keys. Third one is the game mode key, which disables the start button and recommended to use within the games.
In case if you are wondering what light modes it has initial one is the Solid one, Second is the breathing one, 3rd is on click breathing. 4th one is the trigger. 5th one is the wave. 6th one is the special gaming keys like W,A,S,D will only lit up.
Dedicated Multimedia Keys
The Right top side has the Multimedia control keys like the previous track, Play/Pause button, Next track and Mute button. Next to them is the volume control roller which is pretty nice inclusion to the keyboard.
USB’s of the keyboard
The top the keyboard has the USB 2.0 pass though which conveniently connects the devices for you,. So in case you are wondering that 2 of the USB ports will be used for the connection of the keyboard will be getting used then you are correct. The inclusion of the USB pass through definitely justify’s the experience for the gamer in mind.
Experience
I am indeed a great fan of the variety of mechanical keyboards. I will say this keyboard stands little different. Each concave key has a special grip attention for the accurate press. More over the titanium colored textured caps let you to feel the keys differently make the gaming on blind much easy. You can concentrate on the game for much longer with titanium keys. In fact this review is typed from the same keyboard itself. So you could get glimpse of how good the experience I had with the keyboard itself.
Verdict
The keyboard which is certified for the esports and costs roughly around 10,399 as per amazon (in March 2019) is a definitely pick from us. Brilliant at the performance and the tactile feed back definitely is perfect addon. I will miss the use of the macros which again required which is included in the RGB variant and not the red variant.
