HyperX Cloud Revolver S Gaming Headset Review

Every time I’ve reviewed the HyperX product headphones I have received few emails or Personal Messages or Direct messages from the people. This is again a new headphone higher to all of their headphones, I’ve reviewed on the website.  This is the HyperX Cloud Revolver S, and I will say it’s Addictive as the Players Unknown Battleground for its brilliant work on the drivers. 

How is premium the build of the Headphones?

HyperX Cloud revolver S is indeed with one of the best build headphones. HyperX has never disappointed in the durability of the headphones, and HyperX Cloud revolver S is no disappointment for whoever will choose to buy these headphones. I would say it combines all the experience of the HyperX headphones product pushed in one and add the customer feedbacks about the things, excelling it and you get the best in class headphones of choice. 

Let’s come to the actual point of the build quality of these headphones. The core headband is build of the steel frame. The essential and delicate part of the headphone is built with the best durable material. The point of premium things starts at the core of the product. The headband foam is bidirectionally adjustable and not shear attached to the steel frame which gives a unique gaming attire to these headphones. Making the headband foam bidirectional enhancement has created an impact on the comforters for any head size gamer.  

The detachable mic is just perfect inclusion for the headset. The mic when you need and when you don’t just remove it. I will come to the voice a little later. The ear drivers had the memory foam the most premium you could get and the most comfortable one than any other on the gaming headset which I’ve used. The 50 mm drivers are just perfect for the Over-the-Head headphones, and HyperX delivers it in the best possible way.

The headphones come with an extended cable for consoles and also USB extended for PC. The USB extended has a mute button and Dolby On/Off switch. In the build, I will rate it 9.5 out of 10 and even the same for the comfort department.

The Best thing of the build ? in short.

The drivers at the rear have the white HyperX logo surrounded with white strip, The sun highlight type attribute which doesn’t light up but looks more at the gaming front. I tried to use the headphones over the smartphone with standard 3.5mm headphones jack as I was keen and addictive to the comfort and sound which we will discuss it in a min. Yes, indeed these are addictive just like the game. I mentioned earlier.

Sound and Gaming Experience with the HyperX Cloud Revolver S

Let’s come to the most important thing about the review, that is the sound output. The company does say that headphone equips studio-grade soundstage. In many of the aspects of the headphones sound where precisely correct. The Dolby button when lits up does the magic to the whole experience of the headphones. Experience not just in gaming, but movies, music combined. Pushing a 7.1 type of surround experience out of only 2 50 mm drivers is difficult. HyperX exceeds it with ease. I must say even you are paying a premium, but it’s worth every penny you spent. 

Let’s come to game experience and most importantly we loved playing PUBG. The lesson for the lows are especially the footsteps they were totally clear to me. It did help me to get some extra kills in each game. If you already love the game its good, but with these headphones, it will be the excellent combination to love of your game. Indeed for the gamers, the low’s are equally important as of the mids and highs.

The Mic 

Listen and talk are two more important things for the gamer. The multiplayer games are keen to communication between the team. The microphone is something underrated. I didn’t expect much more from this microphone, but it blew me away with the output performance.  Later I came to know that it’s TeamSpeak™ and Discord certified noise-canceling mic. Yes, noise-canceling is right on the mic. Even being detachable it manages to does it work correctly. 

The detachable microphone connects to headphone on the 2.5 mm Jack. It’s flexible and you could adjust as per you face. I have totally fallen in love with the level of each and everything noticed by the HyperX. The experience is totally beyond words to showcase.

Verdict and Pricing

The most premium headphones of all and it does checks all the boxes you required. It’s is totally hard to find a flaw because it does checks all the boxes for any gamer would want it. If you are a professional gamer over the console or PC you definitely should save and buy it. It will be the best investment for years to come. I will suggest invest in some good carrying case for the headphones, a hard-shell one if you want to carry it on multiple location or travel. It doesn’t comes with carrying case that’s a little disappointment you anytime you could spent a little extra. 

The MRP of the product is Rs 13,000 /- It will vary over Amazon, MDcomputers and other depending on your Favorite website or vendor.  I felt it’s at the higher side, but when I saw US pricing, it was 149 Dollars approx which ultimately I think perfect pricing for India as well.
