Sony Xperia Z Ultra In Depth The Big Review

Sony Xperia Z ultra the first thing you will notice is it a very large screen which made me remember those days when Dell streak 5 or Samsung Galaxy Note was launched which were too large ever build. Yet Sony Xperia Z ultra is second phone with such big screen after the Huwai Ascend Mate which is launched in MWC in feb.

Build

When I was handed over this phone I was like stunned by its Slim design 6.5mm thin and light about just 212 grams giving a premium Finish to the smartphone that’s actually main part because smartphone at this price range should definately give premium finish and Sony Xperia Z ultra will not disappoint you regarding that. The Triluminos with X-Reality is just amazing also enhanced with its Sony Bravia Engine 2 made the multimedia viewing just amazing and also a very good viewing angles in the phone making  it to view from anywhere. Also What makes it a diffrent its water proof technology we used this phone in rain while walking off the streets really nothing to worry about the device you can just go with it nothing to worry about harming your phone with water. It scores almost full points in its build making the feel of premium.

 Screen

The 6.44 inch screen quiet bigger than the benchmark of the phablet category and smaller than the smaller tablet category of 7 inch Sony Xperia Z ultra lies in between of it chaging the thoughts of the people but unlikely this category of screen size is really quiet akward to be at start. Forget about using this phone with one hand you definately need two hands no matter what you are doing either watching video, reading books, editing a document or sending a message you need two hands major of the times

We tried compare it with the 5-inch screen which is quiet common in this phablet cateogory people usually have this it was taller and broad enough in both the same making it even tuff to use with one hand yet awesomely build compare to its competitor Samsung Galaxy Mega

This is how the 7-inch screen the best 7-inch tablet nexus 7(1st gen) looks Z Ultra was less in height and broadness of it structure compared to the 7-inch tablet. Also the Gorilla Glass Display you can make any pencil or pen your stylus and just forget about the scratches no buying of scratch guard that amazing the screen was

 

Operating System And Gaming

 

Sony Xperia Z ultra comes with its own interface which is really faster to the samsung’s touch wiz yet it was slower to that the Stock android or the Cyanogen mod which is even faster. It comes with pre loaded some widgets some of it were not resizeable that would be quiet disapointing but you can download many from the google playstore to decrease that disappointment. It also come with Sony Music and Sony TV app lets to to stream Music and TV serials unlimited at no cost. The Sony TV app is only seen in Indian version of Sony Xperia not in others i guess but these apps increase the multimedia content making user feel amazing about it. It also comes with BSE/NSE Stock App inbuilt for the share market users. It does not come with Chrome,Facebook or Twitter Inbulit you need it download speciafically from the google play store. The stock video player also plays almost any file we didnt tested the Mkv yet it also didnt disappoint us in it.

CAMERA

Ultra Comes with 8 MP cam with Exmor RS sensor for low light but the biggest diappointement was it does not had a Flash that was truely disappointment as spending this many bucks and not getting a flash. Next this the camera gave us a lot of problem while focusing we almost tooked many images yet it comes with unlimited bust mode was good. Well it will not disappoint you for normal shot here are some images below about it

The video camera was also good but some competitors were actually better it shoots 1080p but on screen it was not that good in our results here’s the video uploaded at full resolution on youtube

Gaming And Internet (Benchmarks)

The Phone Comes with 2GB ram , 2.2ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor was just amazing in our results while gaming the benchmark were way amazing in our test it was a really beast at this here are some images

 

All benchmark were just amazing the antutu benchmark was higher by some points the quadrant just blew away the bechmarks. we never seen sunspider benchmark at such lowest point for internet in android phones that was just awesome and i can just say it was like holding a power house performer in hand. The processor and Ram were amazingly working on Ultra. We also made the Gaming Video for you all guys which is just below

we also tested asphalt 8 not shown in video and perform amazingly in the phone that too at high graphics with no lag nothing just awesome this made us amazing feel about the device. Apps we opening on click and load click and load this was really awesome feel because of amazing processor that made us feel good about the phablet.We tested Small Game yet powerful game Subway Surfs and it too loaded in less than 10 seconds I think I have seen the fastest loading Subway surfs ever .At internet it was also good and Fast enough with its stock browser
