Our Impression
At first glance, the on-paper specification looks good and I was more interested in the battery life of the phone. When I unboxed the device I was surprised to see the display was amazing. Our to my first impression, this is the best HD+ display at the price point it offers. The colour accuracy and viewing angles are so good that I didn’t miss the full HD LCD panels. I was little concern about the PPI but the display panel handle it completely well in the first impression.
The build of Infinix hot 8 is a good quality polycarbonate unibody with a turquoise blue gradient, which tapers to black at the bottom. It has a glitter like texture on the colour to stand out. The phone looks good and premium and whomever I showcased the phone said its either 12-15k rs phone. In terms of build, Infinix did an excellent job.
The phone comes with XOS inside skinned on Android pie. You get 51.63 GB of free space out of the box. XOS version is 5.0.2 which is well refined from the previous versions of the operating system. For the 5000 mAh, it is optimized good I’ll say. In the initial testing, I’ve got 1 and a half days of battery life. In the full review, I’ll tell the exact details of it.
Pricing and Verdict
The phone is priced at Rs 6,999 and it offers a lot for that pricing. Do wait for our full review. We are impressed with the smartphone at the initial impression.
