iBall Magical Duo 2 Wireless Deskset Review

iBall Magic Duo 2

Last time with the iBall, we did iBall WinTop V3.0 Deskset Review. I think it was the wired desk set which performed exceptionally well for the low budget and more of the corporate side. Today we have a desk set which is especially wireless and more of a consumer end device. I think there’s a lot of scope of wireless keyboard and mouse for the consumer end. It is called the iBall Magical Duo 2.

Let’s talk about the design, even being a budget keyboard and mouse; it does checks in a lot of things right. Let’s talk about the keyboard. The iBall Magic Duo 2 has an elegant design with a good quality hard plastic stands out. The top has a glossy little strip while the major area has matte black hard vinyl. The thin keys with a slim concave shape from the corners do add up the comfort to the long typing time. The key travel is minimal, yet it is just right.
The mouse is small with the On/Off switch at the bottom. Three buttons at the top with the scroll wheel. Three buttons, i.e. Left Click, Right Click and DPI change button. The side grip with little soft plastic does make it the comfort better for the mouse. The mouse fit in the medium size hands perfectly.

Pros

  • Multimedia keys on the keyboard.
  • Battery indicator for the keyboard
  • Good battery life for both
  • DPI change for mouse
  • Single Nano receiver
  • Both are lightweight
  • Good Battery life

Cons

  • Wish mouse could have its own battery Indicator.

Verdict

The MRP Price for the set is Rs 1799 and I think it offers a lot more and I didn’t expect a DPI changer mouse at that price point. It checks in a lot of the boxes and more important iBall has worked a lot on the customer’s feedback; to make it the product much better.
