We recently reviewed the lenovo’s Flagship device Lenovo Vibe Z. The Amazing Specification, killer looks, mind blowing perfomance and benchmarks. Today Lenovo Announces Android Kitkat 4.4.2 update for its Lenovo vibe z and vibe x smartphones India.

Vibe X:

A 6.9mm smartphone which created lot of buzz in India. With the update its gets more better, more rich camera experience .The update supports better application compatibility along with further security enhancements and bug fixes, and the UI gets a new look with lesser icons and a flawless incoming call interface. Efficient auto focus and white balance capabilities ensure better camera experience with clearer, sharper, vividly rich and vibrant images. The upgrade also boosts Lenovo power manager for improved battery utilization. The initial tests show approximately 15-20% enhancement in its performance*.

Vibe Z:

The smartphone powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor now supports 4k video playback in smartphone with its Kitkat update. The update boosts  UI transitions and multi-sensory user experience, and makes the process of adding widgets to the home screen easy. There are now better multi window apps and themes section too gets an update.

The Vibe series is a premium offering from Lenovo that has created a niche for itself in the market. The current update is aimed at boosting the hardware performances further and enhancing multi-tasking capabilities for users to “Do More in Lesser time”.

Availability of Update

The update of Android Kitkat 4.4.2 for both lenovo vibe Z and vibe X will be available by last week of May 2014.

INDIA– MAY 20, 2014: As part of its ongoing commitment to support the users of the Vibe series smartphones,Lenovo– the third largest smart connected device manufacturer globally, has started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update to its Vibe X and Vibe Z smartphones. The updates will be made available in a phased manner starting from the last week of May, 2014. Lenovo has also slashed the price of the Vibe X to INR 22, 999/- for the Indian market.
